Monique is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2014. Monique has had experience providing individualised services to children and adolescents with a range of communication difficulties and their families to enable them to achieve their individualised goals.
Monique offers assessment and intervention for concerns around speech and language, fluency, early literacy and has extensive knowledge and experience working in the disability sector especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Global Developmental Delays, ADHD and chromosomal conditions. Monique is dedicated to a collaborative approach to intervention and evaluating the possibilities of low or high tech Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices to meet an individual’s communication skills and needs.
Monique understands that every child and family is different and is passionate about creating motivating session activities tailored to a child’s interests and goals and enable children to reach their communication potential, maximising their quality of life and participation in everyday activities.
