NDIS Clients
As a registered NDIS Provider we are able to provide services to clients with NDIS funding. We are passionate about supporting, empowering and assisting you and your children to achieve goals which will have life long benefits including at home, at school, with friends, in the community, and at work.
The NDIS is Australia’s first national scheme for people with disability. Each individual that applies for and is granted NDIS funding has their funding allocated for specific purposes such as therapy and resources so that participants are able to progress towards meeting their own developmental and living goals. Young children, under 9 years are eligible for support if they have developmental delays, even if they do not have an identified disability. This provides early intervention and aims to reduce the need for therapy support later.

Private Clients
We are a privately owned and operated service which means we are a fee for service clinic. We do however, have various funding streams and Medicare rebates available to assist our Private clients.
Referrals: You do not need a referral to receive counselling, psychological support, occupational or speech therapy from us. Please contact us via phone or email to arrange an appointment. If you do have a referral from your GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist under a government rebate system, you may be able to receive a rebate for our service.
Fees: Generally, psychology and counselling sessions are 50-60 minutes in duration, and costs are advised prior to the initial consultation. Our fees range from $220 to $320 per session (see below for rebate information) depending on the type of service you are receiving.
The Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommends a 45-60 minute session rate of $318 for psychological services. At All Kids And Family, we aim to keep our fees family affordable so we charge substantially under this rate.
Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy sessions are often 45, or 60 minutes depending on needs. Initial sessions are 50-60 minutes so your therapist has time to talk to you about your child’s needs, and begin some direct assessment. Generally, your therapist will suggest a block of therapy to focus on a specific skill development. You will arrange the best length for a therapy session for your child. Fees vary but average around $220 per hour of therapy.
Medicare: Mental Health Care Plan and Rebates: All Kids and Family Psychologists are fully registered with Medicare and you are able to claim rebates for support if your GP, Paediatrician, or Psychiatrist refers you under a Mental Health Care Plan or a Chronic Disease Management Plan. Current rebates are $98.95 (Psychologist) and $145.25 (Clinical Psychologist) for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Most GP’s will require you to make a long appointment to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan. Please contact your GP to discuss whether you and/or your child may be eligible.
Medicare: Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP) and Rebates: All Kids And Family psychology, occupational therapy and speech pathology sessions are also eligible for rebates if your GP refers you under a CCMP. Current rebates are $61.80 for up to 5 sessions per calendar year. Your GP will discuss how many sessions they are referring you for and for what reason. Generally, a CCMP is used to see more than one allied health or medical practitioner and is aimed at assessing and planning intervention for more complex needs. Please contact your GP to discuss whether you and/or your child may be eligible.
Private Health Funds: If you have private health insurance you may be able to claim a rebate. Rebates vary between different health funds and we advise you to check with your fund prior to making your appointment.
